Dr. Cengiz Akkaya graduated from Istanbul University Medical Faculty in 1997. He finished his residency at Bursa Uludağ University Medical Faculty Department of Psychiatry in 2003. He is still working at the same department as a full-time professor. His main interests are psychopharmacological treatment of bipolar disorders. Dr. Akkaya published more than 80 articles in peer-reviewed journals and 5 book chapters in national -international books.
