Commencing with the attainment of his Doctor of Medicine (Dr. med.) degree from the University of Heidelberg in 2010, Roberto’s academic pursuits expanded through prestigious post-doctoral positions. From 2010 to 2012, he made significant contributions at the Max-Planck-Institute for Psychiatry in Munich. His work as a Post-doctoral Researcher at the University Medical Center in Göttingen from 2012 to 2015, Roberto has been at the helm as a Research Group Leader at the University Medical Center in Göttingen since 2016. The pursuit of understanding neural networks through multifaceted approaches has been a central focus in the career of Roberto Goya-Maldonado. His research expertise spans diverse domains, encompassing multimodal investigations into the complexities of neural networks. Roberto’s inquiry extends further into evaluating responses to pharmacological treatments and exploring the potentials of transcranial magnetic stimulation.
